Kate Middleton wears a black and white Roland Mouret dress to the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick
Kate Middleton was a sight to behold at the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick on Thursday evening in Leicester Square, London.
Exuding old Hollywood glam, the Duchess of Cambridge, who made an unforgettable entrance alongside husband Prince William, wore a fitted, off-the-shoulder black and white dress by Roland Mouret. The royal style maven paired the sleek number with black pumps and a matching clutch, as well as starburst earrings. She opted for smokey eye makeup with her hair styled straight and tucked behind her ears. For his part, the Duke of Cambridge looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie.
Arriving on the red carpet, the royal couple were greeted by Tom Cruise, the film’s OG star, who held the Duchess’s hand as she walked up the stairs, as well as Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and Miles Teller – who held the Cruise’s son plays late, Partner Goose, from the original film. Kate and William are also introduced to some film studio executives and director Joe Kosinski, as well as representatives from The Film and TV Charity, a UK charity that supports those who work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
That Top Gun: Maverick Premiere marks the first red carpet event of the year in Cambridge. Most recently, they attended the UK premiere of no time to die at the Royal Albert Hall last September with Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla. For this memorable performance, Kate dazzled in a glittery gold gown.
