Pottery Barn Kids and Teen has launched a new line with the fashion designer and owner of Hope for Flowers, Tracy Reese. In 2019 Reese created Hope for Flowers, a responsibly designed and produced collection. Based in Reese’s hometown of Detroit, the brand aims to create positive social impact by empowering women and youth through arts programs in public schools and working with local artisans. The new bedroom and children’s room furnishings follow the principles of sustainability: the health of people, the planet and profit equity. This philosophy was in line with Pottery Barn Kids and Teen’s mission to source ethically and build responsibly. The collaboration spans not just one but two living budget lines including babies, children and teenagers.
Reese is committed to building an ecosystem of partnerships with other brands that support responsible practices, making this thoughtful collection a must-have for your nursery.
“True to my line, these collections not only play with color and texture, they also value sustainability, which is an essential value for both the brands and mine. I hope customers love these designs as much as I do. ”Reese shares. Customers can purchase quilts, lamps, pillows, sheet sets and crib covers, comforters, rugs and a chandelier! The production of the articles includes Oeko-Tex, Global Organic Textile Standard Certified, Better Cotton Initiative bed linen and Fair Trade certified materials.
The colorful and upscale bedroom collections follow Tracy’s design aesthetic with eye-catching floral prints. Prices start at $ 18.50 to $ 749. Design your child’s room with sophistication and fun.
“I believe living and fashion are inextricably linked, and with Tracy Reese x Pottery Barn Kids’ and Pottery Barn Teen’s Hope for Flowers collections, I’m excited to help transform the home into a vibrant retreat that is so optimistic and inspiring is like a favorite dress, “says the designer.
