Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to become Mr. & Mrs. soon. Fans of the couple are eagerly awaiting to see them as a married couple. The pre-wedding festivities began yesterday. They celebrated their mehendi ceremony in the presence of family members and friends, which was attended by Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora, Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar and others. Meanwhile, the couple has yet to share photos and videos of their mehendi and haldi.
Now, according to a new report, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have set a special dress code for their wedding guests.
According to India Today, the lovebirds have asked their guests to wear simple colors for their wedding. “They wanted to keep it as basic and simple as possible. Guests were also asked to wear simple colors like pastel and white for the wedding.”
Farhan and Shibani have reportedly planned a reception for their industry friends in Mumbai. The couple, who have been together for over three years, will reportedly exchange vows on February 19 in a traditional ceremony attended by close family and friends.
The soon-to-be-married couple are also currently preparing for their sangeet night. Rhea Chakraborty, a close friend of Shibani, will perform at the bride-to-be’s sangeet. Meanwhile, the media reports also stated that Farhan and Shibani will not have a Maharashtrian wedding or a nikah. They have also written down their vows which they will read out on the main wedding day.
The duo’s wedding was confirmed by Farhan’s father, Javed Akhtar. However, the couple has yet to talk about their wedding.
