Well-known brands have invaded the crypto space to join the non-fungible token (NFT) revolution. Brands like Topps, Warner Bros., UFC, DeLorean Motor Company, Playboy, MLB, TIME, and USA Today have all stepped into this new industry.
On July 14th, the popular fashion brand and the Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana announced that they too would join the NFT craze. D&G has made a wide variety of products such as clothing and perfumes, but this will be the company’s first NFT product.

D & G’s Collezione Genesi collection follows the high fashion NFTs from Clothia and Gucci
According to a report by fashion magazine Vogue, the D&G NFT collection will premiere at the Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioelleria shows from August 28th to 30th in Italy. The term âAlta Modaâ means âHigh Fashionâ and DGGenesi or the âCollezione Genesiâ collection was inspired by this trend.

D&G followed high fashion brand Gucci when the company recently sold its NFT “Gucci Aria” through Christie’s auction house. The Gucci branded NFT sold for $ 25,000 and the proceeds from the Gucci Aria NFT will go to Unicef ââUSA. Clothia, a luxury online retailer, also recently announced an NFT collection based on high fashion clothes.
