Dannon’s Light + Fit is committed to empowering women in 2022: launches new flavors in partnership with Women’s Empowerment Non-Profit Dress for global success
WHITE UNITS, NY – With more than 20 delicious flavors, the wide range of Dannon’s Light + Fit® yogurts has long offered women the flavor variety they are looking for to help them find a balance in their routine. Light + Fit is partnering with Dress for Success Worldwide®, the only global nonprofit employment agency for women, to create new Greek Fat-Free Yoghurts with Lemon Cream and Orange Cream that support and celebrate women’s economic empowerment.
As of February 2021, nearly 1 million women have left the workforce for a variety of reasons, from a lack of paid family leave to limited resources to care for children.* Light + Fit recognizes the need to support women in balancing work and family life and wants to share the solution. As 2022 begins, Light + Fit is committed to supporting women throughout their life and work journeys, beginning with the inspired partnership with Dress for Success to raise awareness of these challenges. These include new Lemon Cream and Orange Cream yogurt packs, as well as an additional $100,000 donation to Dress for Success to further the organization’s mission.

As part of its partnership with Dress for Success, Light + Fit has collaborated with illustrator Michelle Periera to create these beautiful designs for the new Lemon Cream and Orange Cream flavors. Highlighting themes of inclusivity and female empowerment, her work uses bold graphic textures, bright colors and symbolism to create playful illustrations that evoke positive feelings.
“The last few years have been difficult for everyone due to COVID-19, so it has been a pleasure to draw images that exude optimism and positivity,” Periera said. “I wanted to show women working as a team to get things done. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, or in this case, Greek yogurt with lemon cream and orange cream.”
New Light + Fit x Dress for Success Lemon Cream and Orange Cream Greek Fat-Free Yogurts have 12 grams of protein, 7 grams of total sugars, 0 grams of fat and are a good source of calcium. Each craving flavor has 80 calories per 5.3-ounce serving; that’s 33% fewer calories than your average flavored Greek yogurt.**
The new Light + Fit x Dress for Success flavors will hit shelves nationwide this month at select retailers for $3.99 per four-pack.
