The schedule is set for the third year Westhang startup week.

The regional conference runs July 12-16 and offers more than 60 face-to-face and virtual sessions. These range from workshops, presentation panels and pitches developed by local entrepreneurs for their colleagues.

The first three days will only take place virtually, while Thursday and Friday will consist of face-to-face meetings.

“The startup scene in western Colorado is growing rapidly! West Slope Startup Week brings us as a region together to support and inspire local entrepreneurs, ”said organizer Brian Watson in a press release. “The participants get to know influential locals from the fields of technology, art, the outdoor industry and more, meet and learn from them. If you are a creator or maker on the West Slope, you don’t want to miss this event. “

The kickoff event will be attended by Elizabeth MacBride and Seth Levine, authors of The New Builders: Face to Face With the True Future of Business. The book advocates and presents solutions for reshaping businesses, arguing that entrepreneurship has been in decline since the 2008 recession.

Kelly Walters, founder of clothing company Western Rise, will give the keynote.

Other notable events include a virtual career fair and the Greater Colorado Pitch Series.
